  • Without realising it, the first seeds of Adventure Angels were germinated.

In 2021, I finally became an Australian Citizen – a dream so long in the making. This was the fire-in-the-belly that I needed to make my mark and contribute to my new home in profound ways. But I just couldn’t shake the idea of creating a sisterhood of women who bonded over wellbeing pursuits – after all it was a lifesaver for me.

Fast-forward to 2022 and Adventure Angels was born. I believe every challenge and roadblock in life, moves you in the right direction. For me, that direction was the deep desire to empower, support and inspire women to lead more connected and energised lives that enrich and nurture their wellbeing.

If you’re ready to discover your wings and create a truly divine life of health, happiness and connection, you’ve found us. Without lifting a finger (because we know you’re super busy) we provide you with a well-rounded calendar of wellbeing activities that you can dip in and out of at your leisure. And that includes being part of our ‘Angel’ community.

Angel Leaders

Nina Lee

  • I am passionate about my family and friends and the time we spend together. Learning and growing as a person in both my personal and work life.

  • I would say my strengths as a person would be firstly empathy, I am able to understand a person’s needs. I am compassionate and considerate about their feelings and how they find themselves in the situation they are in. I am resilient I don’t let things keep me down, I will learn from the situation and move on. I am friendly and approachable; I will try and help the best I can.

  • The one unique thing about me is my tolerance, whether this is in friendships I have or with my job. I will tolerate other people, their behaviour, and their opinions even if I don’t agree with them. I am my own person and very open minded.

  • My tip would be taking a 20 minute walk every day along the beach and listen to a wellbeing/positive podcast helps you relax and gives you time to think of your day or week ahead.

  • I would say my biggest wellbeing contributor has been moving to Australia with my husband and children, knowing we have given ourselves a better life.

  • I think I'm passionate as I believe it will bring women of all backgrounds, interests and experiences together to participate in different activities and to encourage and support one another.

  • My superpowers probably would be relating well to other people. Encouraging people to take part in things within their own limitations.

  • I am ME. What you see is what you get.

  • I love to sit at the beach and just watch the waves coming it as a form of relaxation. Even when it's raining after a stressful day it's nice to just sit and watch the water.

  • I'd say probably dealing with injuries and pain.

They can help me by being friendly, non-judgemental, and providing activities that are both affordable and within my physical limitations. Also activities that are child friendly as my daughter will be with me.

  • I am passionate about Adventure Angels as life is so rushy and stressful today. It is really important to give ourselves time out to chill, have fun, do something different and meet new people. It is good for our soul and wellbeing. This is what Adventure Angels is all about.

  • My superpower is empathy. I care about others wellbeing, animal welfare and our beautiful world. As Mother Teresa said 'There's nothing more calming in difficult moments than knowing there's someone fighting for you. With you, for you.

  • I guess I would have to say everything. We are all unique.

  • Be happy with who we are. Don't buy into all the stuff we are bombarded with in the media. It is not real life. Be grateful for what we have, don't be materialistic. The world can't sustain it.

  • Biggest wellbeing challenge would be to try new things. But with encouragement from other Angels know I will give it a good try.
